At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on May 7, 2024, Vice Mayor Marino presented a proclamation declaring May 19-25, 2024, as Water Reuse Week in Palm Beach County. Safe, clean and sustainable water resources are essential to Florida’s environment, economy, citizens and visitors. The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department has joined with WateReuse Florida, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the South Florida Water Management District in encouraging and promoting water reuse and conservation. Palm Beach County has implemented a water reuse program and encourages residents and businesses to practice water conservation and the efficient and effective use of reclaimed water.
